New Gas Price Cost

Part One
If the gas prices are $2.20 you would do the same thing as you did in the other paragraph except you replace the old gas price with the new one. you would multiply the cost with the amount of gallons it holds and you would get $29.70. After that you would subtract the numbers to see how much you saved. $39.96-$29.70=$10.26 so I saved over $10. answer: $10.26

Part Two
On that website I learned a lot like why gas prices are suddenly falling again it is because next month there will be a greater supply of gas because of a hurricane coming upstream. I also learned that every one dollar decrease in the gas price it saves $1billion for consumers. The economy is headed downward though.

Poly-What?

In the movie I learned that 4x+3y can't be reduced any farther because the are unlike terms before I thought that it would be reduced to 7xy. It also helped make polynomials a little more clear. And I learned where the name polynomial came from!

assignment #5

The first artical I chose was back to school shopping bargains I chose this artical because I love back to school shopping and it seemed like an artical that would interest me. This artical relates to me because mostly all summer I am looking for new stuff to wear for school. I learned that there are many stores like Once Upon a Child and Plato's Closet that sell close way cheaper. They have close from Gap American Eagle and Tommy Hillfiger. The second aartical I chose was Local babysitting co-ops growing in numbers. I chose this artical because I babysit. This articalrelates to me because I babysit. I learned what a babysitting co-op is, it is when you earn points for babysitting for someone and then you use your points to get someone to babysit for you. These two paragraphs were very interesting and fun to read.

My Car Expenses

1) You spend 150 miles going to work if you work 5 days a week. I got this answer because 30 minutes times 5 days a weekis 150 miles. If you are getting miles per week there and back that's double as much so your answer would be 300 miles per week. If you were working weekends too your answer would be 420.

2) It would cost me $19.92 because my car would get 52 mpg and 52 divided by 320 is 6.15 and that times $2.96 (the gas price) is $19.96.

3)I am now interested in a hybrid car because with a honda accord I would have to make a lot of trips to the gas station.

My Dream Car

Once I got out of college and my parents took me to buy a car I would get a 2009 honda accord. I would buy this car because it does not take as much gas as some cars do. If I got this car it would be almost any shade of blue. I would also buy this car because it isn't very big. Honda accords go about 52 miles per gallon. This car holds 13.5 gallons in its gas tank. BP has the cheapest gas and it will save me the most money. At BP it costs $2.96. It will cost me $39.96 to fill my gas tank. This car will save me a lot of money. This car was given 4.5 stars on its ratings. It would cost between $13000 and $20000 for it if it were used and if it was new then it would cost around $26000 and $28000. I know its kind of expensive but its worth it.

Why We Are Blogging For Math Class

I think we are blogging in math class because it is a good way to go home and review what’s going on in class. It is also a good way for kids to know what is going on even when they are absent. Blogging in math will help me know what’s going on and make sure I’m on the right track. I think blogging will be really fun and helpful!
My poll is closing soon so you better hurry and vote
